• Studied anatomy, figure drawing, and figure sculpting at Fleisher Art Memorial in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1998

• Studied ceramics and blacksmithing at Kootenay School of the Arts, British Columbia, 1999-2000.

• Studied painting and ceramics at Marywood University, 2001-2002.

• Completed a two year apprenticeship at Jordan Taylor's Stony Meadow Pottery, a woodfired studio pottery in Uniondale, PA, 2003-2005.
